question: was there a Mary Russel novel set after O’Jerusalem in Japan?
there are references to more adventures in some of the subsequent books but I could find none.
I feel like I am missing something.
I love all your books. You are keeping me from doing my work because i read them over and over and can’t get antyhing else done…..

    • Laurie King says:

No, the book that follows O Jerusalem is Justice Hall (if you ever want to check things, the web site lists the Russell books in order in the menu–http://oldsite.laurierking.com/). Although yes, a Japan book is in the works, but the portion of it that takes place in Japan will be set between The Game and Locked Rooms. It will probably be out in 2013 or 2014.
Sorry for interfering with your life…

Speaking for my future self (the one in 2013 or 2014): yay!

  3. Then it seems like we´ll have to re-read our old books for a while yet. I´m currently half-way into A Grave Talent, which I hadn´t read for quite a time, but stumbled over again the other day. I keep discovering how good a book that was, and re-reading the old ones will have to do while waiting…. But we´ll have the Pirate King in between!!

YAHOOOO! I am SO DARN IMPATIENT and i simply CANNOT wait to read Pirate King!!!! Well done, Mrs. King, these books are absolutley fantabulous and i read them again and again. Like Russell was to Watson, i was prepeard to HATE them…. 🙂 But i fell in love. You make the characters seem to tangible, so…real. You are an amazing writer and therefore my hero! Thanks for the escape from the real world. God bless you! 🙂
